Avlite Launch New Online Solar Calculator to Assist in Product Selection Around the World

Somerville, Australia – October 2017 – Avlite is pleased to introduce the Avlite Solar Calculator, the most advanced online selection tool to assist in choosing the correct product for the selected environment.

The Solar Calculator has been created to allow users to explore different solar solutions in an easy to use interface. The user can enter the location, configuration characteristics and required options of an existing product, with the calculator assessing whether the product would work effectively in the given location and provide clients with the autonomy and battery capacity results in a detailed predictive graph.

The new online application is the industry’s most sophisticated selection tool, and incorporates calculations to cover blackout days (no sun), temperature, battery capacity, solar panel tilt and orientation. All calculations are set to industry standard and are within 2.44% of industry standard tools such as RETScreen and SAM.
