Systems Engineer – Tilton, NH USA


About the Position

The Systems Engineer responsibilities include:-

  • Design and integration of value-added and custom solutions, including creation of bills of materials, mechanical layouts, wiring diagrams, and production documentation for pre-bid preparation through production builds.
  • Assist with test, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Provide technical customer support and work with the local sales and marketing team to respond to technical sales queries and tender requirements.
  • Design of control and monitoring solutions for aids to navigation applications.
  • Design of solar, mains and hybrid power supplies to support aids to navigation systems.
  • Design of mounting hardware to support aids to navigation systems.
  • Integration of telemetry systems such as AIS, GSM, and satellite to aids to navigation signaling products
  • Work in a matrix with the global engineering team located in Australia and the UK.
  • Ability to travel periodically - both domestic and international.


About You

This role is instrumental across many facets of our business. Therefore communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external stake holders is paramount.


  • Qualification in electrical and/or electronics engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years engineering experience.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to read and understand electronic and mechanical documentation.
  • Experience with engineering tools such as 3D design packages like Solidworks and diagramming software such as Visio.
  • Advanced MS Office experience. • Industry experience
  • Industry experience preferable with solar power systems, control and monitoring systems, communication systems, and/or navigational aids.
