The Expeditionary Airfield Lighting System (EALS) is a portable airfield lighting system designed for quick and easy deployment of portable solar airfield lights. Ideal for military, police and airport operators, the EALS system comes with an integrated solar charging system, keeping your lights charged and ready for use.
The EALS is available as a Portable Airfield Lighting Trailer (PALT) or a Portable Airfield Lighting Box (PALB). Both can be lifted and transported via helicopter, and the PALT can also be hitched and towed from one location to another.
- The PALT stores and charges 112 lights for a complete 10,000-foot (3000-meter) runway whereas the PALB stores and charges 48 lights.
- Configurable from 1,500-10,000-foot (500-3,000-meter) runway
- Air transportable and towable to expedite airfield light installation
- Integrated AC and solar charging system ensures airfield lights are always ready
