Provisioning obstruction lighting is challenging and difficult to navigate, requiring full regulatory compliance. Solution kits make it easier to know what is required to light your obstruction. Having an easy to buy, cost-efficient package makes this generally unwanted task easy. Regulation dictates certain lighting for particular obstructions, so defined parameters direct each solution kit.
Avlite has seen the rise in turn-key solutions ordered by customers who require an easy to install kit. Customers understand that they are required to meet regulations, and need obstruction lighting to work as designed, but don’t necessarily know which components to order for their specific application.
Turn-key obstruction solution kits are the future
Turn-key solutions have been developed by Avlite to meet standards for FAA A-0 and FAA A-1. The FAA E-1 kit will also soon be available.
These new Solution Kits allow companies, contractors and governments to quickly and easily purchase all obstruction lighting components from a single source. This simplifies the ordering process and reduces the possibility of incompatible, stand-alone components from different manufacturers.
The E-1 Obstruction Lighting kit will consist of a control unit providing day and night control with optional remote monitoring, a single red and white medium obstruction light, and three red flashing low intensity flashing lights.
All Avlite obstruction lights feature GPS synchronisation, and each solution has best in class system power draw.
