Brisbane Airport Chooses Avlite for Runway Marking

Brisbane Airport, one of Australia’s fastest growing airports, is a critical transport hub that facilitates the movement of millions of passengers and tonnes of freight every year. The airport has international and domestic terminals which are utilised by some of the world’s largest carriers including Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Qantas and domestic carrier JetStar.

A total of 30 Avlite unserviceability cone markers have been shipped to Brisbane Airport and will be used to mark a runway which is not in use.

These white cones are rotationally-moulded from UV stabilised virgin polyethylene with the red strip permanently moulded into the product during manufacture. Unlike some other products, this red strip will never peel off or fade over time.
