NEW PRODUCT RELEASE: Gable Airfield Marker
Avlite Systems is excited to release the new AV-GM Gable Airfield Marker. The Gable Airfield Marker can be used on unsealed runways to define the graded portion of the runway strip. They are rotationally-moulded using UV-stabilised polyethylene, providing exceptionally long life without the need for painting.

Avlite’s Gable Airfield Markers are manufactured onsite using state-of-the-art proprietary rotational-moulding equipment. High grade, UV-stabilised, virgin polyethylene ensures a robust product with a life expectancy of up to 20 years.
Avlite only uses premium grade, virgin polyethylene which has never been processed before and is free from contaminates giving Avlite complete control over the quality of the airfield markers they manufacture.
Polyethylene for Longer Life, Increased Strength & Less Servicing
Polyethylene offers enormous benefits over fibreglass models including longer life expectancy and less servicing. No painting is required because Avlite’s airfield markers are manufactured using coloured pigments which permeate all the way through the polyethylene.
The polyethylene used to manufacture Avlite Airfield Markers is UV-stablised giving them additional protection from the degradation effects of the sun.
The high tensile strength of polyethylene gives markers increased impact and puncture resistance.
Designed to Comply with CASA Manual of Standards
Avlite’s Gable Airfield Markers are made in Australia and comply with CASA Manual of Standards Part 139 – Aerodromes, Section 8.2.1.
Eco-Friendly
Avlite only uses polyethylene which is free from heavy metals and contains no toxic chemicals allowing the gables markers to be recycled at the end of their working life.
