Avlite’s Donation Helps Keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service in the Air
In January, Avlite was pleased to submit a donation of over $14,000 to the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.
The Royal Flying Doctor service of Australia (RFDS) is a not-for-profit charitable service providing aeromedical emergency and primary health care services together with communication and education assistance to people who live, work and travel in regional and remote Australia.
To assist in supporting remote communities who often rely on Avlite products for night emergencies, Avlite donates AU$20 from the sale of each AV60 and AV70 model unit sold within Australia, to the RFDS.
The RFDS relies heavily on donations and the support of members of the community to survive.
“We are honoured to provide the donation to the RFDS and are pleased that it is going to such a vital and worthy cause.” – Chris Procter, Director, Avlite Systems
Avlite’s donation will help to purchase, and medically-equip, replacement aircraft to help keep RFDS medical crews in the sky.
