Avlite Makes Technology Breakthrough in Wireless Controlled Solar LED Taxiway Lights
Avlite Systems is pleased to announce the release of wireless control for the AV70 solar airfield lights.
The AV70 solar-powered LED airfield light is one of the most popular products in the Avlite range, with thousands of installations in many parts of the world.
Utilising a sophisticated RF module in each light, the AV70 light can now be remotely controlled using a wireless handheld controller.
The wireless handheld controller enables personnel to remotely activate and set specific characteristics of lights within their airfield, via 128-bit encrypted RF data.
The system is designed to offer airports, defence, and aid agencies complete flexibility and enormous advantages over traditional fixtures.

- Allocate lights into ‘light groups’ and remotely control each group
- Change light colours by selecting between internal LED light banks
