Sales of Avlite Systems’ AV60 & AV70 lights raise over $3300 for the RFDS in Australia
Avlite Systems is pleased to again support the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia with a cheque for more than $3300.
The RFDS of Australia is a charitable organisation who provide aero-medical emergency and primary health care services together with communication and education assistance to people who live, work and travel in regional and remote Australia, and rely solely on donations to keep their aircraft and the service operational.
Last year more than 70,000 patients over 4.9 million kilometers were assisted by the RFDS throughout Queensland.
In support of the RFDS, Avlite Systems donates AUD$20 from the sale of every AV60 and AV70 unit within Australia.
The AV60 and AV70 models are two of Avlite’s most popular solar-powered products, and are available in a number of configurations to suit varying applications from taxiway edge lighting to general hazard and obstruction lights.
Sales Director Chris Procter commented, "All of our products are designed and manufactured in Australia, so the partnership with the RFDS is a great way to show our appreciation for the work they do in providing emergency services throughout the country – regularly relying on our lighting systems for night emergencies".
