Avlite Systems, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting systems for the global obstruction market, introduces two obstruction lighting solutions designed for A-0 & A-1 towers and other FAA monitored structures where heights do not exceed 150’ (46m) in height.

Part of Avlite’s extensive line of obstruction lighting, the low-intensity FAA A-0 Obstruction Lighting System is comprised of an energy efficient, compact dual L-810 LED light fixture with an Intelligent Control and Monitoring Unit. The FAA A-1 obstruction system comprises of three L-810 LED light fixtures, a medium intensity L-864 plus an Intelligent Control and Monitoring Unit. Both kits offer a complete turnkey package solution for FAA approved utility, communication, and other tower structures.

The Intelligent Control and Monitoring Unit allows for convenient and cost-effective remote monitoring via GSM or SATCOM. Avlite’s GSM monitoring offers a secure web portal so users can monitor light diagnostics and historical data trends, plus it provides a simple, cost efficient way to plan for regular maintenance. Alternatively, the system can be configured to send out alarm conditions to user-designated cell phones and /or emails.

The FAA A-0 and A-1 Obstruction Lighting Solutions are available with either universal AC or optional solar powered DC.

Like all of Avlite’s LED obstruction lighting, the FAA A-0 and A-1 Obstruction Lighting System meets the FAA requirements for obstruction lighting (in AC 70/7460L) and is FAA and DGAC certified.
