Avlite Systems is a subsidiary of Sealite Pty Ltd an award-winning manufacturer of marine aids to navigation. With product installations in more than 110 countries, Sealite has a customer-base consisting of over 200 government agencies who trust the company to provide the most advanced and affordable aids to navigation.

Sealite has since applied it’s patented product designs and experience in the development of navigation products to enhance the safety of aviation, telecommunications and mining customers.

The Avlite Systems brand provides a range of solar-powered Light Emitting Diode (LED) based products specifically tailored to meet the needs of aviation customers worldwide.

Avlite Customers

Through local partners, the Avlite range now provides lighting equipment to mark obstruction towers throughout Asia, Africa, Europe and the South Pacific. Remote airfields have also recognized the benefits of Avlite solar-powered airfield lights over traditional battery-powered lights and flares.

In addition, major airports worldwide are seeing the advantages of the ICAO-compliant solar-powered taxiway edge lights - now in service by the U.S. Military, Royal Australian Air Force, and under test by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

 

After a period of more than nine months evaluating the AV70 model taxiway edge lights, Project Manager Jim Patterson from the FAA Technical Center commented;
